Bristol Sonics

The Sonics were founded in 2002 and have been participating in the RLC since then, reaching the regional Grand Final in 2008.

Chester Gladiators

The Gladiators were founded in March 2008

North Derbyshire Chargers

Club info

The North Derbyshire Chargers are a new team in 2008 based on a merger between the Eckington Chargers school teams and the Chesterfield Spires.

Nottingham Outlaws Academy

Club info

The Outlaws are an established RLC club who won both the Harry Jepson Trophy and the RLML Shield in 2008. They will be fielding a largely student and youth based team in the winter league.

Redditch Ravens

The Ravens play in the RLC Midlands division

Tallaght Tigers

Club info

The Tigers are based in the Republic of Ireland and are looking to become a year round RL club. Are willing to travel to the UK and also to host UK teams.

Telford Raiders

Club info

Telford Raiders play in the RLC Midlands Premier division and have juniors at a number of age groups.

Wigan Riversiders 'A'

The Riversiders first team reached the RLML final in 2008 and will be using the Winter season to try out new players not playing in local winter leagues.

Wolverhampton Warlords

The Warlords were a new club in 2007, whose remit is the development of junior and "year round" rugby league players in the town.

Barton Bulldogs

The Bulldogs were a new team in 2007 based in Barton-upon-Humber, just south of the Humber bridge. They reached the Shield play-offs in 2007.

Birmingham Bulldogs Academy

The Bulldogs first team plays in the RLC Midlands Premier

Chester Gladiators

The Gladiators were founded in March 2008

Crewe and Nantwich Steamers

Club info

Crewe and Nantwich Steamers entered the MML late in 2007 and are looking forward to their first full season..

East Riding RLC Academy

Club info

East Riding were a new club in 2006 based in Hull. They have entered the RLC in 2008 after winning the MML Shield in 2007.

German Exiles

Club info

The German Exiles are a nomadic team consisting of players eligible for the German National team living in this country, together with players from Germany whenever possible. They were runners-up in 2007.

Moorends-Thorne Marauders Academy

Club info

The Marauders have been part of the RLC for a number of years, reaching the Grand Final in 2006. With Doncaster capatin Pete Green as head coach, they have boosted their player numbers and now have enough to field an Academy side.

North Derbyshire Chargers

The North Derbyshire Chargers are a new team in 2008 based on a merger between the Eckington Chargers school teams and the Chesterfield Spires. The Spires have competed in two ML seasons, reaching the play-offs in 2008.

Nottingham Outlaws Academy

The Outlaws are an established RLC club who will be fielding a largely youth based Academy team in the Merit League. Their first team plays in the Midlands Premier division. They lost in the 2006 MML final to the South Humber Rabbitohs.

Scarborough Pirates Academy

The Pirates are new in 2008 - the first team participates in the RLC.

Scunthorpe Barbarians Academy

The Barbarians Academy team played a couple of games in 2007. The first team participates in the RLC.

Sheffield Forgers Academy

The Forgers were a new club in 2006 born out of Sheffield Eagles IMBRL, a supporters team who also play matches under the "Beagles" banner. They have been accepted into the RLC for 2008.

South Humber Rabbitohs

The Rabbitohs were founded in 2006 playing in Grimsby. They competed in the RLC in 2007 and returning to the Merit League in 2008.

Telford Raiders Academy

Telford Raiders play in the RLC Midlands Premier division and have juniors at a number of age groups.

Wigan Riversiders

Club info

The Riversiders are based on the Wigan Supporters XIII who have been playing friendlies for the past few years and now want to enter a formal league.

Wolverhampton Warlords

The Warlords were a new club in 2007, whose remit is the development of junior and "year round" rugby league players in the town.
